A lot of new home buyers are asking "Is it a good time to buy real estate in today's market". Giving a good answer really isn't that complicated in most cases...
If you need a new home for whatever reason (new baby, relocation, whatever) then now is an excellent time to buy a home. Historically low interest rates and a mass of new and existing home inventory provide buyers ample opportunities to get the home of their dreams at an incredible value. And if you're a first time home buyer, then there is even more incentive than ever for you to purchase a new home now. The 2009 Economic Stimulus Package passed and was signed into law by President Obama. If we take a closer look at one of those stimulus benefits for first time home buyers we can see that if they buy a house this year, they get an $8,000 tax credit. This really just makes it that much more of a buyer's market!
Remember, First Time Home Buyers need to hurry up and buy a new home before December 1, 2009 to get the tax credit!
